Welcome. On this page I will be sharing with you comments and thoughts about the curriculum and keeping you up to date on current projects and upcoming events as we move through the school year.

Dear Parents,
This week in MATH we are wrapping up Unit 8 (Fractions and Ratios) with the Unit 8 Test this Friday, February 3. Next week we begin Unit 9 (Coordinates, Area, Volume, and Capacity). The Family Letter and Study Links for this unit can found at the end of the Assignments page on the class website. In LANGUAGE ARTS we are finishing the first drafts of our Research Reports, due this Friday, February 3. In SOCIAL STUDIES we are working on Chapter Assignment #3, The War of 1812, due Monday, February 6, and continuing work on our Movement West Assignments, due Monday, February 13. In SCIENCE we are learning about global winds and air masses, with a quiz on global winds this Monday, February 6, and a quiz on air masses next Friday, February 9.
Tomorrow we’re off to visit the UC Davis Raptor Center. Please make sure you pack a lunch and water for your child. (There is no drinking water available at the site.)
